Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data RenderBux (“RenderBux,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use renderbux.com and the RenderBux studio, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. RenderBux is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.

What we collect

Account data

If you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your email address, display name, and avatar/profile picture from that provider via OAuth. We do not receive your Google or Discord password.

Usage data

We record product usage such as render counts, your plan tier, the poses you create or remix, and basic product analytics. Analytics that are not strictly necessary to run the service are only collected when you opt in (see Cookie Policy).

Uploads

We store content needed to render and display your work: user avatars (provided by Roblox based on the username you enter), profile pictures, and pose thumbnails.

Payment data

Subscriptions are processed by Polar. We store your billing status and a customer reference so we can manage your subscription. We do not store full card numbers — card details are handled directly by Polar and its payment processors.

Support messages

If you contact us, we keep the name, email, and message you send so we can respond and improve support.

How we use your data

• Run the service — authentication, saves, exports, and subscriptions.
• Improve the product, when you opt in to analytics.
• Send transactional email (welcome, billing, and support replies).
• Prevent abuse, spam, and security issues.
• Comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the service you sign up for), legitimate interests (to secure the service and prevent abuse), consent (for optional analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation (to meet our legal and tax duties).

Third-party services

We rely on trusted processors to operate RenderBux. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

International data transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers out of the EEA/UK are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention & security

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it unless we must keep it to meet legal, tax, or security obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data in our production systems, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.

Cookies & tracking

We use essential cookies for login sessions and optional analytics cookies (PostHog) only when you consent. For details and how to change your choice, see our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California, you may request access to or deletion of your personal information and are entitled not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Children

RenderBux is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please email admin@renderbux.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
